Planning Your Project
Whether you’re replacing a broken window, looking to decrease your heating bills or improve the aesthetics of your home, our Planning section will guide you through the entire process. From start to finish, we can help answer your questions, alleviate your concerns and fill you in on any information you may need regarding your potential new projects. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable with your new window, door or screen purchase by providing you with as much information as possible. Knowing where to start your search is the hardest part, and you’re already there!
You don’t have to wait until something breaks before installing a new window or door. Upgraded vinyl windows, decorative glass doors, and screened-in porches can help improve the look of your home. Dreaming about a new front door to welcome visitors or that perfect glass slider to let light into your living room? Take pride in the appearance of not only what you see on the inside, but what others see on the outside.
Increase Your Home’s Value
Thinking of selling your home one day? Replacing your windows with the latest technology can help increase the value of your home. With our energy efficient windows, you don’t have to sacrifice beauty to get high-quality windows that will help keep your heating bills down and push the value of your home up.
Save Money – and the Environment
Many older homes include outdated features, which let in the cold and let out precious warm air. Upgrading to energy efficient windows will help keep that heat where it belongs by creating a tight seal between the inside of your home and the elements outside. Energy efficient windows keep your home weathertight, subsequently giving you significant savings on your heating and cooling costs.
When considering a new project, don’t forget about your doors as well. Poorly insulated sliding glass doors, or improperly fitted front doors do little to help maintain the temperature in your home. Upgrade to weather-tight, thermal efficient and durable front or porch doors that let in the light and keep your house at optimal temperature.
Nearly all of our windows and doors come EnergyStar certified, helping to ensure that they will not only save you on your heating and cooling costs, but will also help protect you and your home from damaging UV rays. Lower your energy use and lower your energy cost.
Budget and Timeline
At Custom Built Window and Door Systems, we make sure you are informed and comfortable with each step of the process. From the first phone call, you are encouraged to visit our Factory Showroom. Here you can view a variety of different products and styles, assess quality and durability, and have all your questions and concerns answered.
We then schedule a visit to your home where we will determine your needs, recommend a product, and get some measurements. Our quotes are all-inclusive, meaning we won’t come back to you later asking for more money. When you decide to move forward, your new windows or doors will be manufactured right in our facility in Warwick, Rhode Island. As soon as they’re produced, we will contact you again to schedule installation, working around days and a timeline that works for you.
From first phone call to installation day, our typical project takes around four to six weeks. We like to minimize the impact installation will have on your day-to-day life. Subsequently, most of our projects only require a day or two of installation. Your individual technician can give you more specific information on a specific budget and timeline for your specialized needs. At Custom Built we work to get your products as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. We pride ourselves on our speedy turnaround time and quality installation.
